This introduction to landscape design & horticulture led him to go on to complete the BBE course at QUT and the GDLA in 2007. He began working in a the Landscape Architectural industry in early 2005 and has gained experience in a range of project types including Civic Parks & Streetscapes, Institutions such as hospital & research facilities, Multi-Unit Housing, Subdivisions & Commercial Developments of different scales and single lot Residential projects. Wayne joined Tract Consultants Pty Ltd early 2008 and will continue to develop his skills & career foundation here as a Landscape Architect.
Patrick Atkinson - Associate

After completing his planning qualification, Patrick commenced his career working with the ACT government. Since making the move to QLD in mid 2004, Patrick has worked with the Whitsunday Shire Council and then a Sunshine Coast based consultancy. Patrick’s skills relate primarily to statutory planning via the systematic implementation of the Integrated Planning Act and the Integrated Development Assessment System. He is experienced in the application of a range of local government planning instruments and associated land use policy such as Noosa, Whitsunday, Maroochy, Caloundra, Caboolture, Gladstone, Calliope, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Mackay, Mirani, Broadsound, Banana, Bowen and Port Douglas. Patrick’s knowledge of statutory planning includes various land uses such as commercial, industrial, medium density housing and greenfield residential subdivision. He has been independently responsible for the preparation and interpretation of master plan assessment schedules, various complex development outcomes, opportunity and constraint planning, problem solving, conflict resolution and due diligence assessment.
Vaughn Bowden - Associate

Vaughn has been involved in a wide range of planning and urban design projects in various roles including Urban Design, GIS analysis, report writing, and graphic design.
Cheryl Broughton - Office Manager

Cheryl gained this broad experience in her various roles in Brisbane City Council’s Finance Division; while supporting Commercial Agency and as Office Manager of Savills Queensland; as Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, Ray White Commercial; and as Personal Assistant/Office Manager of Buildev Development Queensland.
Rob Choucroun - Senior GIS Analyst
Email: brisbane@tract.net.au Phone: 07 3229 7444 Bachelor of Science (Computational Mathematics), Pennsylvania State University Rob joined the Tract Melbourne office in 2002 and has since been involved in a variety of large and small scale planning projects. Since his time at Tract, Rob has developed skills in state of the art Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software. Relevant projects that Rob has been involved in at Tract include Pentridge Piazza and Pentridge Village, Eynesbury, Hidden Valley, Lynbrook, Greenvale Rise, and Greenvale Lakes, Bromelton and Beaudesert Draft Structure Plans, Yarrabilba Draft Structure Plan, Greater Flagstone Draft Structure Plan, and Gold Coast Racing Precinct. He was involved in GIS analysis for Transit Cities, Livable Suburbs, Beaudesert-Boonah Road. He has also been instrumental in developing Tract's Design Analysis Tool (DAT) as well as utilising advanced GIS tools such as viewshed and slope analyses.

Vice President, Brisbane Development Association Hon. Director, Urban Development Institute of Australia, Qld, 2002-2003 Mark is a town planner and urban designer with over 20 years of experience. Mark posesses a diverse range of skills which he utilises in carrying out dynamic and exciting urban design, statutory planning, strategic planning and consultation projects. Mark works with Government officers and elected representatives, community groups and built environment professionals across engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, surveying and real estate development. Mark is an accomplished public speaker and has taught undergraduate and post-graduate planning, design and transport courses.
Ken Foyster - Design and IT Professional

Prior to joining Tract, Ken has served 20 years as CAD Manager and IT System Engineer for various companies, bringing to the firm expertise in the preparation and subsequent management of development applications for numerous medium to large projects, enhanced visual illustrations, planning documentation management and research, staff management and training for all aspects of company software and systems. Ken’s specialist skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD - Autocad), 3D Modelling Software (Revit, Archicad, 3D Max/Viz) and High End Graphics Suites has ensured his key role in many Master Planning and Urban Design Projects particularly in Queensland.
Brianna Fyffe - Town Planner

Prior to her employment at Tract, Brianna gained experience with a small environmental consultancy working in the parks and gardens sector developing her skills in report writing, social research and data analysis. Brianna joined Tract in August 2008 and has a keen interest in environmental planning and sustainable development.

Richard has a strong commitment to high quality, functional and creative design achieved through detailed site assessment, response to user briefs and integrating the built form with the environment for sound and sustainable outcomes. Richard also has considerable experience in working with clients and consultant teams and coordinating specialist input for a wide range scale of projects. This experience extends to involvement with community, user group and authority consultation and provision of expert evidence.
Miranda Hackwill - Landscape Architect

She has worked in a number of project areas including golf courses, residential subdivisions, schools, aged care facilities, highways and urban streetscapes. Miranda is currently working on presentation graphics and design and construction documentation for a number of residential and civic projects.
Julie Hardie - Landscape Architect

She furthered her interest by completing the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University NZ (2006), after which she joined the team at Tract. Through her experience with Tract, Julie has gained skills in both hand and computer graphics. She continues to develop her design and graphic communication skills whilst contributing to a range of projects located throughout Queensland.
Tim Healy - Landscape Technician

Since starting with Tract he has worked on a number of projects providing, design documentation for landscape concept and masterplans using CAD and graphic presentations, site analysis and cost estimation. Through this work he has developed skills in Microstation and Adobe Photoshop. In his previous role for Greengrove Garden Supplies & Maintenance he developed valuable skills in plant propagation/care and landscape installation and maintenance.

Joining Tract in early 2008 Nancy has brought the firm a broad range of skills that include urban design, master planning, site analysis, report writing and graphic skills. Nancy has a passionate interest in urban design, place making and transit integrated development.
Sonia Kirby - Principal
Email: brisbane@tract.net.au Phone: 07 3229 7444 Bachelor of Environmental Planning (Hon) (Griffith University) 2002 – present: Masters Social Science (RMIT) Member of the Environment Institute Australia & New Zealand (EIANZ) Sonia joined Tract in 2003 bringing with her a broad range of skills acquired from working as an urban and environmental planner, both throughout Australia and overseas. Prior to joining Tract she was employed by Wyndham City Council in Victoria as the Strategic Planner/Sustainability Officer. Working in local government, Sonia has gained valuable experience in strategic planning, community planning, sustainability policy and environmental policy development. Her strategic planning experience has involved the preparation of Local Structure Plans and Development Plans in urban fringe areas, development of planning policy addressing issues such as waterways protection; rural area planning; coastal development; and environmental assets protection, and regional planning activities in metropolitan Melbourne and South East Queensland. Environmental planning projects Sonia has been directly involved with include State of the Environment reporting, integrated catchment management, biodiversity protection, air quality monitoring, Triple Bottom Line reporting, facilitating community environmental initiatives, and devising sustainability strategies and policies.
Paul Morris - Landscape Architect
Email: brisbane@tract.net.au Phone: 07 3229 7444 2000 BDS (Landscape Design) University of Adelaide Bachelor of Built Environment - Landscape Architecture Paul graduated with distinction in 2004, completing his studies and achieving a high standard of work in numerous areas of the discipline. A highlight of his studies was achieving AILA recognition in 2004, receiving a commendation award for work in response to the issue of restoring sacred ties with the concerns over the 200 mile city. He is also a current member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. In 2005, Paul joined Tract Consultants as a full-time Landscape Technician, where he has utilized and honed his skills in a variety of office work and responsibilities ranging from CAD drawing, presentation graphics and construction documentation. The projects that he has been involved in have been a collection of Queensland to Asia based work and have allowed him to develop with the essential design and construction skills. These projects have varied from housing developments, luxury hotel design, visitor centre landscape works and memorial parks, where he has enjoyed an array of opportunities in design and insight into client relationships.

His recent experience includes the design, documentation and contract administration of the Brisbane Magistrates Courts and the University of Queensland's Chancellor's Place.
Mark Shurey - Associate
Email: brisbane@tract.net.au Phone: 07 3229 7444 Diploma of Applied Science – Horticulture Master of Landscape Architecture Associate, Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Mark has extensive experience in open space design and construction supervision, including major and local roads, parks, wetland reserves, play spaces, waterways, retirement complexes and urban development. He has also undertaken visual impact assessments. This has lead to considerable experience working with multidisciplinary teams including civil and structural engineers, ecologists, lighting, fountain and irrigation designers. Mark has worked extensively in Victoria, South Australian before moving to Brisbane he also previously worked in the horticultural industry for 10 year. He has a wide knowledge of design, horticultural and environmental issues.

Through the combination of work and university, Stacey has been better equipped to developed all aspects of the landscape architecture and particularly enjoying perspective and master plan illustrative work. Stacey enjoys the diverse nature of Tracts projects in particular housing developments and recreational foreshore design. She endeavors to continue her professional development by expanding her knowledge of plants and refining 3D digital drafting and rendering skills.
Stephen White - Managing Director
Email: brisbane@tract.net.au Phone: 07 3229 7444 Bachelor of Applied Science - Built Environment Graduate Diploma of Landscape Architecture Registered Landscape Architect Associate Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Stephen has over 18 years of experience within the landscape architecture profession, including extensive experience in civil, urban design and site planning projects including roads and major highways, busways, town centres and streetscapes, golf courses, convention centres, campuses, resorts and commercial projects. Many of Stephen’s projects have been carried through from master plan to implementation and have included extensive public and stakeholder consultation. As Director of Tract Consultants Pty Ltd for the past 10 years Stephen enjoys, and has considerable experience working as a member of multidisciplinary teams on large civil infrastructure and urban design projects, such as the South East Transit and Inner Northern Busway and Busway Stations. Stephen is also accomplished at overseeing complex, large scale projects where a site responsive approach is dictated by the environmentally sensitive nature of the site - a prime example of his expertise in this area is the recently constructed and multi-award winning Cairns Esplanade Foreshore.
Radmilla Zaimovic - Associate

Her strong design skills are cohesive with documentation and contract administration skills and project management capability. Prior to joining Tract Consultants Radmilla worked both locally and overseas on a wide range and scale of landscape architecture and urban design projects for private and government clients.
